Okay. So I promised Nicki that I would give her a link to this blog once I wrote something profound and pithy. So..... yeah.... um. Okay so profundity is not my strong point sp I'll just say what's up. I'm still here in Point and I'm in the middle of the holy shit I'm graduating and don't have a job yet portion of the semester. I have been looking ( mainly in San Francisco( come on its pretty)) and Yesterday I actually applied for two jobs that I don't have a shot in hell at getting but Hey you never know the people a cirque du soilie might be crazy enough to hire me on as an ASM. I don't really want to Stage Manage in any capicity but what the hell why not. Its work and it is in Vegas which can work for Dave to since there is a shit ton of work in that town for lighty type people. The only problem is that I can see Dave's friend Andrew occuping our couch most weekends. But hey it would be good work. If that doesn't come through, I do have a gig hopefully in May back with good old Utah Opera Festival Company. Well see.

I like your blog. Your entries are short. But if you like, I'll lesson the pressure on you to perform by not reading your blog. It's terribly addictive though.

I will lesson the pressure on you to find a job right after graduation (as I should have done) but who am I to talk. After 5 years I got senior-itis so bad I forgot to graduate. Seriously though, don't feel bad if you don't find anything right away. I know there's a lot of pressure on you to be an adult not a studnet and find your way in the world immediately, but that just doesn't happen. Give yourself the freedom to be a loser without a job for a while - or work some shitty job. It happens. What i'm saying is don't worry. Not that is sounds like you have to because your on top of your stuff and you've got skills and I'm sure you'll find something. And as far as Vegas? What is life if you don't have an Andrew on your couch? God help me I don't think I want to know the answer.

I agree with Laura...you need to give yourself time to find out who you are SANS college. (having said that, at least have a job, so you can get beer money) I mean, you can still use your student ID to get into shows (my ID has my graduation date on it!!! sucks!!!!) and you'll have friends in college, so it's not like you have to grow up immediately. Get a shit job, bum around, intern at the Utah thing again, and don't worry about growing up. Trust the girl with the HP tat. :)
